Darkness Swallowed me Whole

I was about 14 when I wrote this, it was back when I only wrote poems when I was depressed. It's about moving again lol!

 

Darkness, coming to swallow me whole

It stares straight into my soul

I scream, trying to get free

Please, just let me be

Friends so far away

It's just not okay

Everything disappears from sight

I must try to fight

With all my might

I can't get free

Lights begin to fade

The darkness swallowed me whole

So now I'm left alone…
