Moving Wind

Moving Wind

A Poem by Rin
"

Yet another one about moving.

"

Taking me, forcing me to a place unknown
Gray, dark, cold endless solitude, nothing to love
This persistent wind won't leave me alone
Screeching at me, whirling around me
I desperately grip for anything that will anker me to this land
Please wind let me stay with this joy in this vast free land
But it refuses and overpowers me
Forcing me far into this endless gray place
How I wish I could stay…
Stay in this colorful place, this limitless place
I am slowly defeated and begin to transform into grey
I lose all memory of the once happy land
Now all that is left is this endless grey
I close my eyes and let the wind take me
With its slow, gentle sway…

This is very good. I like how it just seemed to flow. I thought writing about wind is a great idea and the words were great. The last few lines are very powerful! Great poem.
