Running out of Time

Running out of Time

A Poem by matelotrod

                           Running out of time?
Why the heck has Skype changed its contact routine
How do we know who is available on line
I am pretty sure that everyone will know what I mean
If their computer operates the same way as mine.
Where has the green spot gone that made you aware
Of who is  on line and ready for you to contact
It appears that Skype now doesn't seem to care
They have completely made a mess of the contract.
I am of the old school and  have enjoyed the old Skype
Chatting happily away with an online friend
The saying "If it aint broke don't fix it" is not a load of tripe
But the complications will bring Skype to an end.
Rod Broomham. (c)

Maybe it is just me but it seems that many changes made to a host of things make it worse!

Hi Rod I find it hard to believe in anything on the net. Google, Face book, you tube, and twitter would never be trusted by me. they are all ruled by the government, All these sites it seems to me are ways of spying on the common man. These days it is hard to trust all the powers that be. I enjoyed the read, my friend....peter

Doesn't it just irritate when things are changed like that for what seems to be no reason. It is interfering with your little routine and it irks.I know this feeling. Same thing happened on two previous poetry sites that I used to frequent. Someone decided they needed updating. Unfortunately they weren't updated for the best. They became unfriendly to use, so I left. I've got a feeling Rod your poem will get responses from others who have also gone through this. Hope you are keeping ok Rod. All the best, and I enjoyed the read.
