TO MY IMMORTAL HEART HOPE

TO MY IMMORTAL HEART HOPE

A Poem by Sir Robert Robbie Lord Dudley

I went to drink deeply

I went to hear you

until a silvery moon stands bygone

inward and outward

atleast i can still look on

at those cool, sweet, colours our feathers

oh, swirling spirits under the sky

I thought it possible

once this touches on a day of sunlight

by a walk, a gentle stretch

and the bell it has now rings phone

enduring been silent

meant sorrows and broke again

endearing together we can do

to review it restlessly shadows go

let us, say, of course not-so empty

swarming out of a day in

special smells all the wind

the bee's boxes and baskets and buggies

what if life and love and self

could fly faster than lightning put through

to the frost and the fire

when I so clearly am follows

and the red roses gone still grows up

unless it's broke again

getting it done, are, these echos in

returning, go clear back again

is all that we see to do been

faster than lightning, an angel

can save me pouring for souls outta rainfalls

certainly under a tree

enwrought with light and armor plates

against the past there cold

going on to it for one concern

I had known how hard to find

afterwards warm lines

from the feelings before

inward and thee words for outward sakes shines

and I had worn the wind

torn in to places thru pieces at night & day

that is so far between along the way flows on

to most holes encloses branches thru

afterwards a long, long journey grasp

under them most kindly

floating stars once shined

because we'll see it untwine

spinning atop, talking up buttons

to hold that within a shell

on the mysteries a dewdrop sweet

so hold me like a breeze

it's brief upon your lips I hang with you into May

oh, we sparkle simple but not-so slow Spring
I remembers the flowers beyond there

One of the best poems I've seen on this site very good freelance, and I'm not the type of reviewer to say to this to everyone.

"the wind torn in two
so far between along the way
after a long, long journey
under them kind
floating stars shines
because we'll see it untwine"

This flows very well for what it is. Well done.

Nice wording and flow. It sounds like the poetry of a mind spinning out of control. The ending is like a summary...so hold me...

-- .. the bee's boxes and baskets -- what if life and love and self -- could fly faster through -- the frost and the fire -- and the red roses gone -- getting it done, are, these echos -- returning, going clear back -- is all that we do .. '

Extraordinary language as if the thoughts of two people have been swept from their mouths and breeze-blown into the aiar, quite, quite perfectly. Beautiful
