The Procrastination Proclamation

The Procrastination Proclamation

A Poem by Rachael

The Procrastination Proclamation is known by mostly every person.

It is almost a law holding businesses together, or breaking them apart.

Keeping your grade up in school or letting it go down.

You see that paper on your desk?

It was given to you last week.

Yah, you procrastinated.

By the way, it's due today!

You see that document on your computer?

That was sent to you by your boss because he got sick.

He was counting on you to do it for him.

I don't think he will give you that raise you wanted but was going to give you

...if you did that paper.

Not anymore; Because you procrastinated.

See that paper in your folder?

That is describing your 200 point school assignment.

I don't think you want to forget about that one.

But you had to go to that awesome party.

Too bad it got crashed by the police.

And now you better understand the Procrastination Proclamation.

Know it.

Live by it.

We all do it.

No denying it.

Haha. So true! I need to read "The Book of Job" by tomorrow.. but I'd much rather watch Survivor. ;)
