New World

New World

A Poem by Rachael
"

I wrote this a while ago and just found it..

"

Welcome to the new world.

After everything has died out, this is the new world.

I hope you weren’t hurled into this new world.

The rain and the snow.

The sun and the wind.

Everything becomes part of it,

This new world.

I feel like I am the only one here.

Hello?  Anyone?  Please.

Could I be the only one?

No, it isn’t possible. So I search.

A few hours have passed...

Or at least I think it has been.

After all, who knows what time it is.

Yet that doesn’t matter.

Still no one.

My heart and mind are yearning

for some sign of life other than me..

This is so unique. I feel like this sometimes even though im not in a new world, which i believe is the intended purpose of this poem.

Well i like the ideas and the style of your writing , but im not quite sure i understand the entre concept of your poem. I can't tell whether it is a poem about envoronmental change or of relationships lol srry, maybe i just suck at comprehension. :P (not meant to offend)
