What started as something like 3,000 friends

has dwindled and dwindled 

down to something like 1,500

And I'm terribly glad

Well i did same thing here. One time i have houndrerd friends. But no one was really interising me. So i let them go a d they are gone.

I always heard bad thins about Facebook so I stayed away from it. I can see why you're glad.

Yes. What is going on in this specific case is that I "friended" a whole bunch of people I went to high school with, and then I remembered that they were a bunch of drug addled losers. I dropped them by the dozen and some of them dropped me. The more the number dropped, the closer I felt that I was getting to the truth. Let the number decay. Let it decay! Missing people that I don't miss.
