Pondering about 'now'

Today never knows,
What tomorrow will be

Tomorrow never knows,
What another morrow will be

Yet today is so precious,
A today...full of wonders
A today...that holds adventure,
A today....that holds joys,
A today ...that holds pains
A today...that holds many gains
A today....that may be in vain
A today...that makes us smile
On how beautifully mysterious
And mysteriously beautiful
It can be for a while.

Yet this today
Is such a gift
A gift, that bonds us between
What we were
And may be.

Your message is a good reminder to appreciate each day as a gift. We must spend a little time & effort to choose our attitudes, as you show us with your upbeat examples. The feeling of enthusiasm shines thru in your poem. Each day, some of us who are struggling with difficulties, we can still choose our attitude & make it an upbeat day.
