This is so true. Sometimes things are the way they are and no amount of fixing may help it. However, I feel like the poem could also be touching on the "you dig your own grave" saying, in that no one can help you if you don't let them, and if you carve your stone too deep it may not ever be able to be filled.
Very short, yet incredibly thought provoking.
Admiting to what we can control nor fix is hard, and it fills us to the point that we're sick and tired and frustrated. Even we want to badly to fix, we have to let go and let it be if there's is nothign we can do. And though life carries on, and we want to dig in our heels and shout 'No!' we eventually slip in the mud, and it's hard to get back up. The words were short and simple, powerful and turning over a new leaf inside. Even thought the poem gives off that vibe of pain and frustration, it gives off that glimer of hope and patience. Very nice, absolutely wonderful.

Yes.. It all comes down to free will. Unrequited love, love lost... All this comes to each of us at one time or another and then just as all hope is lost, When you have given up and began acceptance, the love of your life finds you...
Wonderfully written and the sorrow of the realization is well conveyed.
