the devil's in the details

the devil's in the details

A Poem by audrey horne

when i met the devil,
i didn't know it was him.
he was very handsome,
with a wicked smile,
and we became friends.
quickly we became lovers.
it was only after his hands
had raked themselves over my body,
did i know that he
had come from hell.

A seductive stranger to a dangerous love.. the way you've summed up the journey is brief and beautiful yet uncompromising on the sentiment in each stage
Good work :)

Wow - this has 'Fifty shades of Hades' written all over it (thats copyrighted as of now by the way - joking !!)
To feel that one has had the devil visit and even worse one has had relations with the prince of darkness must be deeply disturbing - even if was in the guise of a handsome guy. We live and learn as they say AH. Thanks for sharing
