talking to my baby lullaby

so my mom's friend kept her newborn baby with us for a couple hours, and i was singing to her trying to make her go to sleep, and i made this up for her

baby close your eyes
sleep next to me
i'll hold you tight
won't you sing with me
i'll tell you about the world
and how it's so big
i'll tell you a secret
promise me you will keep 
but now close your eyes and go to sleep

i see it all .. the newborn in your arms hearing your soft words and voice .. and those lids start to twitter and the eyes roll back ... i feel the gentleness in the mood .. i like it .. last line .. do you mean "now close" instead of now closes??

if you are not a mom already .. i think you will probably be one of the best .. i love the spirit of "talking to my baby lullaby" ..wish i could hear you sing it ;)
