When I grow up

Whe the child days are done
And everything is a little less fun
I will persure my dream
Probably not as easy as it will seem
My dream is to write
My works will show my enemys spite.
The will insprire, and create
Places of wonder, where everyone can relate.
People will love my books
They will read them and look,
At the wonderful fantasies
That my words will show them.
This is my dream
Probably not a simple as is seems.

Ahh This is so true! The actual writing part, I think, is hard enough, especially with longer stories. But then the publishing world is a nightmare. Don't let it eat you alive, and don't EVER give up!

Now for the actual poem, I liked it. It has a good message, and one that everyone on here can relate to. There were some spelling errors; Microsoft word has become my best friend with that.

It won't be simple. But it is a dream :) And what a great dream that is. This was my dream once. I don't even have a dream anymore. This poem shows the ending of the teen years. The years where no responisibilty is really laid upon us. (Well for some) And looking into the futur. It shows hope and longing for, what every real writer wants :) Great write.
