just thinking

Love is a Verb

looking into the eyes

needing to see a reality there

are magic moments fewer now

lost in the maze of life

we sit waiting for quality time

time that is just ours

all but erased

in the rush of a moment

the tempo of a day

a week a month, a year

the fatality of a lost love song

that fades to gray before us

we speak of love

but it's only words

love is an emotion

love is a verb..

it requires action

just as faith without works is dead

love without nurturing dies

flames dim and quiver

gasping a last breath

fading into darkness

anyone can say the words

I love you

but its action that makes them real

Its not the amount of moments we spend

but the quality of those moments

deep meaningful moments

that tell someone

I love you...

make every moment count...

this is great....and i relate...a little differently...time we can spend together we make the most of...but that time is so limited...lots of words, but the actions put on hold because of circumstance...
