Concerto

Concerto

A Poem by shallimarRose
"

prelude to a dream...

"

Concerto

Romance me to the edge of moonlight

play me like a an old love song

 waltz my interlude of emotions

strum my heart strings

but don't string me along

Sonatas fill desires soft

your lips whisper in gentle blows

like my maestro tend my needs

set the music sheets a glow

Orchestrate my movements

my chords, yours to posses

play with all my gentle notes

my cymbals tremble I must confess

Make me sing crescendo's

loud like a trumpets scream

feel the tremors of the chords

a prelude to a dream

play accelerando' now

the music picks up speed

perhaps the last cadenza

will fulfill my aching need...

Masterpiece is a term that should be used with care, but I do believe you've penned a masterpiece here Rosebud...I LOVE poetry that equates music with lovemaking, especially classical, where strings are involved, and you've certainly pulled all the right strings of this reader...this poem takes the metaphor into incredible depths of romance and sensuality...I love this one :)

For a moment I thought that was Zamfir playing. He is quite good with the pan-flute, which is what is being played above.

As for the concerto momento, Shallimar, there is no reason to 18+ this. You are showing perfectly clothed personage with no profanity in your words. You could rate it for TEENS it and increase your readership.

As for the poem itself. Many people have always associated music with emotion. I think it has to do with the fact that even as humans, despite being fiercely independent and telling ourselves we are the most intelligent species in the galaxy, deep inside we all have an instinct.

And that is to reflect and smile and to get lost in our thoughts - to beautiful and memorable music, no matter your age, occupation, or upbringing.

Your words speak true and tell of love and passion - most musically and harmonically. :)

Creatively sensual... music and our sexuality have always gone hand and hand, you've represented that well in this wonderful piece.

Image, font and video really add to this and are well worked into this subtly erotic piece I feel. Music can be a great bringer of love in itself and its different tones and tempos reflect the moods we feel, sometimes a waltz is too slow and we need to go Punk Rock for a while, so allegro allegro, lt us briskly move to the cresendo at the end!

I adore that song, Rose! It has to be my ultimate favourite song ever. This is a poem full or desire and passion and you've written it amazingly well.

Everything from the title to the font to the wordplay combines perfectly in Concerto, to create what I find to be an example of truly magnificent poetry. :)
