Where hid HE?

How I glided high as an eagle,

Lonely as I soared above cliffs,

Peace, I searched as I flew,

Finally did I find in something true?

As my mind wonders wide,

Nowhere to go, thought did I?

 

Peace, I searched as I flew,

In lands, seas, people nor things,

Found no peace, where hid he?

 

Finally did I find in something true?

For deep within my heart hid he,

For the Lord hid peace within me!

A very powerful write with beautiful imagery. Most of us if not all search for peace and it does seem to me if we can't find it within ours selves with will be hard to find it any where else. The Lord can show us if we care to seek, listen and learn. A very creative and wonderful poem!
