Touch

Touch

A Poem by Shalini Dinesh (Poet's World)

Your features so slender and sleek,
Looking at you makes my heart go weak,
Many write pages about you,
To you, I know what I say isn’t new.

Your looks are just so cool,
The one who doesn’t like you,
Is sure to be called a fool,
And my admiration you rule…

On you, with my finger I touch,
The response time taken is not so much,
You act really so quick,
On just a single click....

From the start of the morning hour,
I see you work till
The shine of the star,
Even after the death of the flower...

Like to move my finger all over you,
For all others I'll bid adieu,
For, there is none as Best as you....
You are precious and one among few.

To walk along the shore, leaving behind the footprints for the sea waves to tickle, the cool water washing your legs as you walk by, gentle breeze whiffing your cheek and mildly wavering .. more..
