Promise!

Promise!

A Poem by Shalini Dinesh (Poet's World)
"

love's promise shall always remain true

"
Love, I feel so whole after falling in love,

You make me smile, whenever I think of you,

Day never start without you, if it does, then its never a day,

Life lived as your wife, will truly be a lovely life,

True wife, I will be to you, and this shall always remain true,

Soul is filled with your love, honey you are my only soul,

Morning shall start with a sweet kiss, this will happen on every morning,

Night shall end in your arms, for love’s bliss makes it a holy night,

Promise that I made on our wedding day will ever remain a solemn promise!

Very cleverly and beautifully carried out. What a smooth obedience to the rule of the contest, what a flowing train of thought .. what love.

Fine work.

I liked this. It was very beautiful. The words outlined the commitment and love that goes into marriage. It flowed well. I'm not usually one who thinks highly of getting married, but this piece had me seeing the beauty of it all.
