I'm Longing ......A Poem by Shalini Dinesh (Poet's World)When I wake up in the morning, With fresh energy and mind, I’m longing to see your photo, For the first thing I see should be you. When I feel the rays of the golden sun, Spreading warmth all around, I’m longing to feel the warmth of you, Sending warmth down my spine and skin. When I taste the sweetest berries, Seeping the sweetness through the tongue, I’m longing to taste the flavor of your lips, Entangling me in the passion of your kiss. When I hear the doorbell, Waking my senses with its volume, I’m longing it should be you, Whose lovely face I could see. When I look up at the stars, Shinning down on earth, I’m longing to see your eyes, Ever shining and looking into mine! When I fall deep asleep, Resting my mind and soul, I’m longing that you should be my dream, For I don’t want to miss you even while sleep.
