The Seductress pillow

Born to tempt, till the day we sleep

Tempted

It’s the silence that follows the alarm

An awkward silence

A lapse in judgment

A whisper, you get closer

The moment you close your eyes

To its soft bosom

You feel you’re going home to your dreams again

Beware, it’s a seductress pillow

It puts you back to sleep, so slow

What is happening to you, you wouldn’t know

Cheating on your early-morning commitments

You decide to sleep with the seductress pillow

Same as other reviewer, I too am a victim to my pillow. I hit snooze way too many times.

I just love this one! I'm more a victim of insomnia myself. I'll wear myself to a frazzle sometimes before I reach the bed...drives my wife crazy. I might be up at 3 am writing or washing dishes. She's like, "I was going to get those"...I know but
I 'm just trying to use up some of my boundless energy. I'm also such a light sleeper that a wasp walking on the window pane will wake me. It's not that I don't enjoy rest, I guess I'm just one of those people who resist the temptations of the "seductress pillow" to the last. But I greatly enjoyed the read. Peace and light brother.
