Unspoken

Unspoken

A Poem by sheila.j

The paper bleeds red

Staining over pages

Of words never said

Words that could have purpose

To show the truth

Of what lies below the surface

But no eyes wanted to see

These words, these things

Painful to be

So instead

 The paper was ruined

These words will never be read

Maybe it's better unspoken

Words unwritten, usaid

Then they can't be broken

Another very interesting poem. I have a big stack of papers in my file cabinet that will never see the light so I can relate. Once again very well done!

Again thank you!
Wow. Very powerful. My words are often lost in the wind of our lives... Mostly because half the time, I can't speak. :D Great job. I have written a poem on this topic as well... Interesting...
