Summertime Solitude

Summertime Solitude

A Poem by Remanence
"

Walking through the Tall Grass Prairies

"
Meadowlark mornings,
and butterfly afternoons,
endless flowerscapes.

Everything looks best in its proper season and for the tall grass prairies, late June is that season.

Because I don't know much about the tall grass prairies, I googled for images. I had already built up a picture from your words of what to expect, I wasn't disappointed. Wild life in abundance and colour too. This write is rich with its birds, flowers and butterflies.
