No Prejudice

No Prejudice

A Poem by Skib

Leave your prejudice at the door
or speak to me never more
for in this house you must respect
the tolerance that we expect
because in our minds we're all the same
despite creed and color or even name.
If you are unable to my friend
just for a second try to comprehend
then this I pity as I do the weak
see your ignorance at it's peak
We may look a little different
and our tongues be not the same
but we all bleed nine pints of blood
until we never bleed again.

This is very true. Prejudice should not be tolerated by anyone, as it strips us of our humanity and makes us even more cruel... You convey the point that we are all humans and that should be something that brings us together, not separates us. Thanks for sharing this!

This is truly heartfelt in so many ways, and I could not agree any more from what you have stated. At this time, there is much hatred being spread as a dark poison, and it has no boundries, in order to do so, and we, can choose to either accept this hate or to stand against it, in love and unity, no matter the color or race we each portray for in the end, we all come into this world the same, and go from it the same, except death is never an easy foe to face neither. Loved this piece and the message you have shown as well. Great Job
