“I’m just not good enough”

5 words mumbled to me while we were wrapped up under sheets and sheet of blankets. I sat up and looked him straight in the eye.

I am sitting here admiring someone who had changed my life in its entirety and me as a person, and he believes he isn’t enough. I was astonished and appalled to say the least.

How could a person with a mind filled with infinite galaxies and words filled with endless meanings sit here and say they aren’t worth anything.

Before I met him I was nothing but skin and bones, my insides were bare and untouched. After him my body was beautiful. Filled with laughter and happiness and love.

How many people can sit there and say that they have changed somebodies lives in such extreme ways? For him to say he is not good enough is an insult because he is the reason I am who I am today, he is the reason I smile, he is the reason I wake up every day, he is the reason I can look up at the sky and know there are endless amounts of possibilities, he is the reason I appreciate the small things life has to offer.

He is the reason.

I was so much into the story....I can relate to it... Truthfully well written and expressed! Amazing how sometimes some individuals have no idea the affect they can cause on others...I also love the tittle *He is the reason*... Congrats!

Thank you so much!
We barely look at ourselves the way our loved ones look at us... It is a very well written piece of work... The first line set the story perfectly... I have witnessed personally the death of my frnd who was amazing but hardly saw his own Beauty and ultimately gave up his life to death...

I feel the love and appreciation for that person in your words, for you he is your life changer but to him he is nothing but a mere person... Excellent work...

Sincerely
Dhiman

I hope it's good thoughts.
Wow...A very nice way to give someone a tribute who means a lot to you.
There are some little mistakes I would like to point.
Before I met him i was nothing but skin and bones.....in this 'i' should be replaced by capital 'I'.
he is the reason I wake I wake up every day--You have repeated I wake, so delete it.
I appreciate your work because it came from your heart and anything which comes from it should be appreciated.
Well done, looking forward to read your other writings
