Just a little something.

Once upon a time
In a land just through the woods
Lived a young girl
No one knew she was there
She thought

She was all alone
In the world
Until the day
The young girl ran into
An older gentleman

He took her in
Showed her the big
Wide world
Showed her kindness
Showed her love

When he passed on
She grieved
For she had found
Love
Accpetence
Acknowledgement
So much

And now
She would never
Be able to
Return the favor

This is like a fairy tale with a sad ending. I also think you have something worth continuing as a short story.. I am wondering what she could do to return the favor .. very sad but a good read!
