The Age

how I see the world, this dirty, horrendous, beautiful world.

This is the age

Where young boys
And young girls,
They lose themselves,
In this vast world
From the words of the wise,
To the parents and the teachers,
The children can't help but feel
So annoyed by the preachers

You feel like you'll never be wrong,
But oh child, hear them say,
And until then
A good life won't give you
The time of day

Friends and pressure,
They don't mix well together
You'll end up lost,
Sometimes a life is the cost
To find the way back,
But I have faith in you
You just have to have faith in yourself, too
