Preserving love

Preserving love

A Poem by marie

Heartfelt cries
Enduring lies
Bloodstained tears
Forever years
Shadowed life
Voices cut just like a knife
Eternal sorrow
Lasts in the morrow
Brand new scars
Strongest bars
Trapped inside my mind
My family leaving me behind
Golden bitterness
Lost in the joy of song
Preserving love
Sent from above
In the midst of pain
Hope will find us again

I really like this. I like how it starts out with hopelessness and dispair, but then ends in hope. :)

The hope of hope I thought it was pretty good:)
I like the ending.

You are welcome.
I see you have put the lines of one of my poems to use. I believe this one sounds better.
