Paradise

another day in paradise

another tear falls silently

another broken sacrifice

answering a silent plea

a foggy night in paradise

hides away my fears

warming me as eternal ice

still deep in the years

a lonely night in paradise

another shattered soul

a lost cry in paradise

from a forever hole

and yet he stays

and yet he hears

still he sees 

all the scattered tears

 

he’s calling me

he’s hearing me

keeping me ever near

truly there is nothing to fear

he is here

he’s holding me

holding me in paradise

catching every tear
