I’ve never been the kind of girl to draw hearts everywhere,

Nor have I been the girl to plan my wedding before I see the end.

But now I seem to change and daydream quite a lot

I’m terrified you see of what I seem to turn into.

Never been the girl to sit down in a corner,

Playing with the little ring on my finger,

Thinking “What’s he doing?” every other minute,

Focusing completely just on you.

Don’t look at me like this, I did not lose my mind

Have not changed all that much…

But I have changed, for you.

Ahh...It's wonderful song in the air, when cupids arrow has finally spread it's magic through the blood.
This poem was sweet and tender, full of love and the desire to truely feel all that there is about someone that you care about.

I would even say that this poem was cute!

'tis the shape of a heart - well, roughly - I saw the shape as a piece of modern (heart)art. the image of a girl in this gives an innocence until I read and realise a strong character coming at the end. I like the concept here and you are right, you should always be yourself but for that someone very important you can allow yourself to change - at least I think thats what you were trying to say!
