Be In The Moment

Sitting, figuring and being careless,

Enjoying my vacation by being fearless

Not doing any work, simply enjoying the sights,

Movies, shows, music and lights

Needing to relax from life somehow,

Finally paying attention to the present things now

No work for days since I've been gone,

No raging crazy stuff, just up until dawn

Simple life of a normalcy if there was one,

So to you I state: Be in the moment until it is gone.

This is the life. When I was single and free with the Army for 12 years. I would wander and try to see everything and do everything. Poem is wise. If possible better to wander and celebrate being alive. We can rest when we are dead. A excellent poem.
