Possessed Love

Possessed Love

A Poem by StacyPerry

You stand on the edge of a cliff,
I am on a raft simply adrift
You jump off and land without a scratch,
I fall off the floating raft
You stand up and brush yourself off,
I manage to get to the sand which is soft
You walk down to the beach,
I am standing up and you are in reach
You give me your hand to hold,
I take it thinking "that was bold"
You take off your shirt and wrap it around me,
My body begins to warm up from the sea
You hug me tight and carry me to a blanket,
I had not seen it before, yet it was there set
You lie me down and make sure I keep warm,
I look into your eyes which look like bees in a swarm
You hold an evil grin upon your face,
I know you are Satan's child in any case
You kiss me with passion to fill me with lust,
I can't seem to pull away even though it's you I don't trust
You enter me with your tongue into my mouth,
I can't believe that you haven't tried to go a little more south
You place your hand on my throat and squeeze gently at first,
I want you so much, but I feel the curse
You let go of my throat and look at me through clear green eyes,
I have taken your demonic passion inside
You smile at me with a warmer inner peace,
I am the one who is possessed and it shall not cease
You stand up and look at me as I lay,
I stand beside you, staring out at the moon's rays
You are freed from the curse that held you back,
I am the one who holds the devil within my empty heart sack
You tell me "thank you",
I grin back at you and say "What do I do??"
You tell me the tale of how you were attacked,
I can't seem to care as it is feelings I lack
You can't bare to see me like this anymore,
I kiss you back and now you hold the possession once more.

This is truly dark but done in a very clever way. Your rhyming and flow add a depth to this poem that I really like. Interesting and clever dark tale where Satan's Son suffers remorse once the evil has left him at what he's done and can't stand seeing you possessed so takes it back. A slightly different ending then one expects from such a tale. Nice job.

A very good poem. We must be tested and learn where we stand in in someone life. I like the story in your words. I like the positive ending to the poem. Thank you.
