Emotional Waterfall

I can feel the pain well up deep inside,

You can hear the voices seem to cry

I can taste the salt that comes from my tears,

You can watch as water pours more than I can bare

I am an emotional waterfall,

I have been though it all

I can't seem to stop nor stall,

I shall be drowning as no one hears my calls

You take my hand and fingers towards your lips,

I try not to break down even more as you kiss the tips

You want to make everything better for me and my frown,

I begin stage one of many as the heart crumbles and breaks down

I am an emotional waterfall,

I have been though it all

I can't seem to stop nor stall,

I shall be drowning as no one hears my calls

Perhaps there was a reason for this in the end,

I won't be around to see it nor want to pretend

Understanding is something that I can't simply shrug away,

So let the black cloud that covers me keep my life in perpetual night instead of day

Knowing you are here for me should be enough,

No matter how times run through as life is not always easy but can be rough

So take a moment and rethink if you want to be by my side through all of this existence I call insane,

As from here on out it will not be sunshine and roses but everlasting darkness with thorns of pain

I am an emotional waterfall,

I have been though it all

I can't seem to stop nor stall,

I shall be drowning as no one hears my calls

You're the one (who can save me)

You're the one (From myself)

You're the one (No doubts left)

You're the one (As I take the knife)

You're the one (From the shelf)

You're the one (Save ME)

You're the one (who can save me)

You're the one (From the shelf)
You're the one (Save ME)

Reminds me of a song (You are the One). No huge similarities but I just love the scheme of the piece, the clever stanza placement, as well as the partial punctuation that only a few can actually turn into some sort of confused emotions.

A beautiful and powerful poem of love. I like the repetition in the poem. Made the poem stronger and more real in emotion and feelings. A strong ending to a excellent poem.

Sadly we always look to be saved and at times we feel like there is a person who can take all the pain away but in realty we can save ourselves we just need to look deep inside and find that source...
