Prologue: "The Reaper"

A Chapter by Stella Sky

"Please have mercy. I'll give you everything I have. Be it gold, mansions or jewels, I'll give it to you, just don't kill me!"

The dark figure let out a little laugh. "You'll give me everything?"

"Y-yes. E-v-verything. Just don't kill me. Please."
Arthur Lanchaster plead, kneeling. Sweat continues to drip from his forehead, trying hard to stop his shaking. Behind him, he struggled to scribble something on the wall with the blood dripping from his fingers, making sure that its hidden from his attacker.

Infront of him stood his attacker. Hidden by the shadows, holding a handgun attached with a silencer.

"Well then," the figure lowered the  gun and smiled at him.

I knew it. No one can resist money.

He smiled, now relaxed and on his way to stand.

"So, what do you wan-"

BANG

Arthur landed the cement face first. Blood flowing out from a smoking hole in his forehead.

"Then, let me have your soul."
The smiling figure with the gun said while dropping a note on top of the body before walking away, disappearing to the darkness.
