My Love

The Sun in my soul has set,

warm red splashes

across a pure blue sky.

The full moon in my heart

has risen

to bathe you in it’s soft warm beams

of gentle love.

I feel spring’s calm descend

as we await our summer

of festivals and fetes.

Of long idyllic walks

hand in hand,

the feel of your skin,

the smell of your hair,

the sound of your soft voice,

the warmth

and the deep passion

of your loins.

this was really sweet, summery and romantic to read! my only criticism would be to get a bit more creative with word choice... think of something more descriptive than the simple colors of "red" and "blue" also:
"the feel of your skin,
the smell of your hair,
the sound of your soft voice,"
for these lines i think it would help if you add specifics to give us some insight into this relationship so that we connect to it emotionally right away. how did their skin feel? hair smell? etc.
over all i really enjoyed reading this poem that encompasses that summer love vibe- great work
