Why We Click

Why We Click

A Poem by Tai Chi Italy Take Two
"

We poets are a sensitive bunch and yet we need solitude to write, a symptom of why we need each other....

"

To go and find some space
We click to seek out a hole
In which our tortured mind
Might crawl.

Actively and distractedly
We seek out our mutual
Needs, an equally lost soul
With which to proceed

Just a few more
Time lapsed moments

This is why I sit in front of a screen pouring my heart out to complete strangers
that I somehow feel a unique kinship with, yeah I need a life too.
This is experimental then so far so good, you could prob expand but that's
wholly up to you, I enjoy your ability to poke fun at yerself by the way

but dear friend, your answer is right there, in your poem - "an equally lost soul" :)

"seek out a hole In which our tortured mind Might crawl." Yes. Yes. Yes. I think you've fingered a universal feeling here..... and have placed it in an elegantly sparse poem...... I'm just sorry I can't float any suggestions for you at this time. :-}

Believe it or not, this is our life, most of us anyhow, it is much more easy to pour our hearts out on these pages than to speak of it to a person who may be ten feet from us, that we share a life with. We poets are a funny bunch of characters, this is a very good observation of why we click.

wow! believe me this is so much for an experiment, seems more like the confirmatory result to me..lol
for it depicts a picture not too often seen or noticed of the writer...livng in solitute, scripting and pouring your heart out for people you dont know from adam to read and review. its a loveable bizzare state.
good write.

But there is nobody really out there is there? Gulp, reading all these things? It's just a clever piece of computer software right? Phew, thank got for that! Click-erty, clicker-ty, click-click. And no crawling please, poets are vigorous spirits who surge n soar, rip n roar!

experimental...it's good to experiment, it avoids the monotony of day to day living, and this is an excellent piece of experimental writing.
We share our innermost pains and thoughts, with those we don't know...yet we need to close out our known ones, to perform this act...how's that for irony...
Well Done LLB, keep it up :)
