Ballerina

Ballerina

A Poem by Tarry Franck

I dance around life

With sad thoughts and

Emotions of my days

Hoping noone will speak to me

Because I have nothing

Positive to say

For I have been led astray,

I search for light to guide me free

Before I fall to the floor

In hopes of handling the darkness

That has been cast upon me,

Knowing I can't move to the light

To take my final bow

And heal these wounds

Until I realize with a

Strong heart and a strong mind

I can mend my torn sole

And embrace a new life,

A new dawn

Hoping of holding

A love that

Heaven will shine upon.

A dancer can move and escape pain for a time. When the dance is done. Must live with thoughts and loneliness.
"I search for light to guide me free
Before I fall to the floor"
I like the positive desire and hope at the end of this poem. A excellent poem.

Beautifully written...
No state of joy lasts forever...but that also means, nor does any state of darkness...
