Prometheus (unfamiliar past)

Prometheus (unfamiliar past)

A Poem by T. Smeltz

Unfamiliar past. New beginnings of untainted soil. Alien destructions don't last. The human spirit in the sky. Our soul. The past mystery glooms our love and tendency for the romanticization of war. Our heart.  Battle stations. Take your battle stations. Our body.  Find the logarithms and allegories for our decent. Our mind.  Gleam the galactic red shift you star fighter. Universal utility of the universe of war satisfies the aggressive one.  Fight hand to hand for glory. Fight gun to gun for a cowardice lack of strength. The black will bring us alive, you white bodied beast. You gave it your all. We took it all. Victory. Glory. Salvation.
