Lighting up the Night

Lighting up the Night

A Poem by Tempest

I look to the sky for strength,
I am changing,
No longer the pale moon,
My light inside grows,
I am a star going supernova,
I cannot be contained,
I overgrow my bounds,
Emotions run high,
I am a pillar of light,
I am true to myself,
I will flare and be born again,
Out of the ash comes the best of me,
I will not be defeated,
Not in this life or the next,
There is nothing that can or will
Crush my spirit,
For I am creation,
I will rise again,
I will persevere,
It is my gift in life,
I make my own light,
I shine in the darkness,
I am the never ending light.

Oh I really enjoyed this cause it is so powerful and uplifting... no one can tame your soul if you don't let them... believe in yourself and there are no boundries of fences to tame your inner life.
