A Chapter by Weeping Willow
"

Tomoko, Aiko soon to be husband

"

A few days after Aiko and Tomoko are hanging out almost all the time, but Aiko still doesn’t know Tomoko’s secret. It’s late afternoon and Aiko is looking for Tomoko when she runs into her sisters

“The prince must love you two I haven’t seen you all day.” Aiko says smiling at them

“I hope not I just want to marry a normal noble,” Kanna replies

“Oh, have you seen Tomoko anywhere.” Aiko says looking around

“Yeah, the king asked to speak with him, so I think he’ll be a while.” Izumi says looking at Aiko

“Oh okay, I’ll talk to him later.” Aiko says walking off

“You like Tomoko don’t you!” Kanna says grabbing Aiko’s arm “you know you can’t marry him right,”

“I know that and I don’t like him in that way he’s just a friend.” Aiko replies “any way I have to go practice my harp” both Izumi and Kanna look at Aiko walking off

“I think you may be right Kanna,” Izumi says “do you think we should tell dad?”

“Yeah, but we can’t tell him which servant it is.” Kanna replies, so they both tell their father about Tomoko without saying who he works for or anything else. The next day their father takes Aiko out into their deep forest and whips her and just like before Izumi and Kanna are there. When he’s finish he locks Aiko in her room, with a few servants that are women. They tend to her wounds and after they’re done they leave, Aiko is in her room lone and cries herself to sleep. Both Izumi and Kanna lock themselves in the rooms and stay there all night. The next Moring Aiko’s father sends Izumi with Aiko’s breakfast, but she isn’t allowed to stay. While Aiko is eating her breakfast she sees a cat at her window, she opens the window and grabs the cat

“Are you lost?” she asks looking for a tag or collar, the cat meows a few times and then lies down on the bed. When Aiko sit down with the cat looks at her and sees some blood coming from her back, the cat tries licking the blood up

“Don’t worry, I can get through the pain just like last time. I just hope that Tomoko is alright,” Aiko says hugging the cat. The cat then goes out the window, Aiko watches the cat “you remind me of Tomoko,” she whispers to herself. Outside the cat lands in the back yard and turns into a human, Tomoko gets up and walks inside. He goes straight to his father and say

“We need to tell the father and the girls that I’m the prince. Also I would like to propose to Aiko,”

“Well okay, I’ll tell them in the lounge room. But you need to get out of those footman clothes.”  The king says passing a crown to his son, Tomoko goes upstairs and gets dressed while he father tell Aiko’s father to get everyone into the lounge room. Aiko’s father opens the door and says

“Get dressed, the prince is going to choose one of your sisters to marry.”  Aiko stands up and gets dressed in one of her best dresses and walks down into the lounge room.

“Who do you think will be picked?” Aiko asks her sister “I’m out of the question, but it will be one of you,”

“I hope it’s not me,” Kanna says

“I don’t care, as long as my husband’s good to me.” Izumi replies

“Sit down.” Their father says coming into the room “he will be here soon,” Aiko looks around the room and her heart starts betting really fast. What’s the matter with me she thinks as she sits down, the king and the fake walk in and sit down on the lounge opposite of the girls.

“There is something I need to tell you,” he begins “my son has picked one of you to be his wife, but my son it’s who you think he is.” Aiko’s heart just keeps betting faster and faster, “you see this boy isn’t really my son.” He says pointing at the fake “My son wanted to see the real you so he dress up as a footman,” Aiko grabs her hands together and realises that Tomoko is the prince. “So here is my real son Tomoko.” He says as Tomoko enters the room, both Izumi and Kanna look at Aiko, as Aiko looks at Tomoko. This is it he’s going to asks me to marry him, but why can’t I says no is it because his my friend or because I don’t want to tell him I don’t love him. Aiko says to herself, Tomoko sits right next to his father

“I’m the real Prince!” he says staring at Aiko.
