Help Me Stop This

We never really talked before,

And I thought we were becoming more.

As I'm sitting here trying to be your friend,

You talk, flirt, then ignore.

You're here one moment,

And gone the next.

You left me broken.

You left me a wreck.

Once I heard the truth,

I couldn't stand the hurt.

I know it's not your fault,

But I fell for the flirt.

I need to get over you,

Even if I love your comfort.

But I can't seem to bid you adieu.

I won't find another.

You've screwed all of my emotions up,

And you never seemed to care.

You make me want to scream, "Shut up!"

But I can't let go - I'm not prepared.

I need you to help me

To find a flaw.

So that I can leave

And stop saying blah, blah, blah.

You make me forget everything

You make my heart race & stomach drop.

Including all other feelings,

I just want it to stop.

Please help me stop this.
