It's never the same with you anymore.

4 years ago, I had one of those

Cute little crushes on you.

One of the ones

Where you're older brother's

Younger sister

Likes one of his really good friends.

Yeah, I remember it well.

But here and now...

Everything's not the same as it was before.

You're a lot better...

But you're still the amazing person I've always known.

It's never the same with you anymore.

We're texting non-stop now.

We're on the same baseball team...

And we have some of the weirdest conversations I've ever had with a friend.

Some are even extremely deep... Ones that only close friends

Would have with each other alone.

It's nice to be able to

Talk to someone with out being judged.

I love helping you out and

You helping me with whatever is going on.

Yet, you still don't get it.

You don't get how much you mean to me...

Sure we're 2 grades apart, and hardly a year in age...

But when have numbers 

Ever mattered to us?

It's never the same with you anymore...
