Edge Of My Lips

Edge Of My Lips

A Poem by Choosing Life

I am blushing within and tingling without...

Touched by the vigor of your thoughts caressing me....

Covering me with a heated rush, a flush through my soul

Filling the atmosphere with notions of us,

A pondering of your beauty intertwining with me..

The sounding of trumpets combines with rushing waters.

The elevations that we could only know, through the way,

Our souls whisper...

The earth moves...

Vibrations of the coming of our beings...

Through the distance, breaking down the barriers of sound and time.

I know you... As your name is birthed,

on the edge of my lips and falls to rest in my lap

Showing that the sensuality; the attraction is as much about the spirit as the body.
You build the anticipation beautifully of the mind, and spirit.
The chemistry that is within our thoughts and the mingling of our desires.

Nice work, can a piece have an R rating and keep its clothes on?

Most moving, especially 'Our souls whisper...' When I read that I imagined two lovers in the whispering gallery of the mind (there is a whispering gallery in the dome of St.Pauls Cathedral in London). The lovers whisper their secrets to the wall which convys them in a curve. 'I know you...' sounds very moving also. And the image of the name on the lips is a beautiful detail especially when the mind focuses on it with its powerful metaphor seeing microscope. The poem feels wonderfully calm and gentle also...depite the trumpets and vibrations along the way!

love that ending. really great :)

i like these two pieces you just posted - i like their simplicity. they are also both very sensual, and involving thoughts of love and desire and such.

'Filling the atmosphere with notions of us,"

yes yes :) love that

fantastic job my dear!
