I love her

I love her

A Poem by Tori Heales

Her skin hangs a little loosely around her smile,

Her hair's begun to fall with silver strands,
Her eyes glow with a little less shine,
But I love her, and she is mine.

She keeps me safe, happy and warm,
She tends to my every need,
She is the reason that I am here,
So I love her, I hold her so dear.

To me there is no one to compare,
To me she could no wrong,
To me she is the very best,
And I love her, with my every last breath.

We have a bond no one else will ever have,
We have shared memories just for us,
We have something everyone should,
Thus I love her, like no one else could.

Could you be speaking of your mother? Whoever it is, it's wonderful that you feel so close. A very nice poem, by the way. Sam

Writing is a release. All of my work comes from the heart expressed through the head, if these experiences weren't had first hand, they were lived through my freinds and family, all of which are dear .. more..
