Trust

Could you care?

I leave you hints

But could you dare

to ask me a single question?

 

I have many hidden scars,

and I’m debating whether or not

to tell you about them.

These scars each have a story.

 

Each story is different

yet the same.

No this is not

a game.

 

I trust you

but it’s so hard to trust.

So please, just ask the questions

before my heart turns to dust.

 

If I open up to you

don’t turn away.

Don’t leave the topic unfinished

for me to wonder upon from day to day.

 

Trust is hard to come bye

yet still easy to find

Just don’t cheat or lie

and open your heart.
