Battle Within Me

I keep having these images running through my head
As I drift away and try to sleep in bed
All these evil thoughts they make me, oh, so sad
Dreams of killing ones I love. It's the devil in us
To hell with him and his shady ways
Trying too scare us with his evil haze
I tell him to get lost, but he always comes back
I vow that I will never become like that

You fill my head with all these thoughts; Images that aren't true

This sounded like a song, and some of the lines sounded out of tune or just not complying with the same rythm. However, I always enjoy battles of white and black, good and evil, dark and light. This poem talks about something we ALL encounter, the title is not new but the style is different. Thanks for the review on my poem and thanks for sharing this.
