WARS EYES

You are mine for the making
of my army; just right for the taking
Nicely ripened for the picking
juicy violence; damn sweet finger licking

I know what they want and they cannot have it
I will not continue for their bloody benefit
I have freedom to make choices in my life
The right ones are hard to make when caught in a strife

Look around and see the chaos
building up, sanity is at a loss
Like a rat caught in a trap
Lies and deception draw you in like bug zaps

I wised up for I was stuck in the pit of fools
realized that I was becoming a senseless tool
Followed the road that I knew I must journey
the start of it was so rough; it had me worried

Chorus:
It don't matter who you are
we're no better than the one
standing next to us.
Feel how we are losing trust?
Society is corrupt
and we have ourselves to blame
for being dangerous;
Inside we are all the same
HUMAN!(x3)
Foolish!

"Why do we continue to fight
over pointless things? Guess we're not that bright"
Always sure that their way is right
starting a war to lose their life at the bomb sight

Fighting over beliefs. Fighting like a disease
Leaves me saying, "GOOD GRIEF! WHEN WILL IT EVER CEASE?"
Violence is the result of peoples foolishness
constantly acting upon actions in digress

The only thing war brings is our own demise!
WARS EYES!!! (x6 in a fade out effect)

Author's Note

The dragon in the sword represents the foolish behavior fueled by our negative emotions. The sword itself represents the destruction of that behavior.
