Dawn

Dawn

A Poem by Vlazuvius

The telivision lies shattered
unable to spread it's lies
giving rise to a freedom
that we've seemingly forgotten
for behind the scenes
of that TV's screen
the sugar coated cereals
are just apples and they're rotten
I'm sick off of fresh air
the silence burns my ears
tears streaming now
the scab peeled from fresh skin
hopefully I'll find a voice
now that no one else is talking
panic is depressurising
the colony has died so I might begin

This is a very intense poem - well written in a concise way - giving it a hard hitting feel but it does not lack detail. I liked your comination of alliteration and harsh/hard sounds, which fitted perfectly with the over all feel and theme of the poem.
A great write which differs from much of the writing I have read on this site. Congrats.
