About Me

Hello there,

I'm have been on this site for a couple of months now.I have just started writing again having gotten bogged down in work for my university course (English Literature at Southampton Uni). I found this site through Storywrite.com.

I love writing when I can find the time. I find myself inspired by everyday things-many of my pieces are written around my local coffee shop. I like to capture moments - sometimes of revelation or just those little thoughts and feelings we have and become suddenly aware of. I also like to focus on dialogue.

Feel free to leave constructive criticism on any of my writing, I will try and return the favour. Equally feel free to add me as a friend I am always willing to talk to new people and read new writing.

Are you going to upload your third draft of Footprints soon? You only have a few days left before the final deadline now!

Thank you. To tell the truth, I didn't think I would do so well. I hadn't thought that the poem was that good, but oh well. I just finished another poem, and I'm working on a story, so heh.
But again, thank you.

Aha - that makes sense! Really, all short stories should have beginnings, middles and ends: which is what I was really trying to do in my one sentence jobby.

I'll have a look for the contest here. It's a really good idea! It reminds me of the 'You can write a story in five minutes' from the Five Minute Writer!
