Remember

Remember

A Poem by vickie

Today I will remember

Today I will remember

Where I’ve been
and
Where I’m going

What I’ve lost
and
What I have

Who I was
and
Who I am

Who I love
and
Who loves me

and
Why I’m here

Such a great message in just a few words. we must always remember were we have been but never forget where we are going and who it is that is standing by our side the whole way there. Beautiful write...

I like this... kind of a call to keep some perspective....to always remember....not to forget. Not to force the past from our minds because it is part of life. Part of who we are.

I really liked the simplistic way you put your wording together, because after all, this is where we are, who we are and what we were and ultimately, just ourselves in real form. Really nice writing and I enjoyed reading your poem. I'll have to go through and read more of your work. =)

Very nicely done! I liked the simplicity of it, and the message!

i love the past then present words separated by and. really deep. maybe you can edited the first line and the last line. so that way they flow into the past/present. maybe i remember then i forgot. well it is something to think about.
