The Beauty In Her

An old poem from many loves ago.

When I look into her eyes
I see a beauty deep inside
A beauty that will never go away
A joy that will forever stay
Her laugh brought a smile I can never forget
When it fell was like my life saw its final sunset
A perfect person that would never leave grace behind
I can only hope to be able to stand by her side
I could never make one so important cry
For every tear, would turn my world into a lie
I've given my New Angel my heart and all
To always be there if she may ever fall
Something so precious to me I can never leave
For it is her happiness that I believe
It was her voice that brought joy my way
It was her gentle touch that gave me so many things to say
Her smile shines brighter than the greatest gold
Like a story that has never before been told
A feeling that only through her, I have felt
And when she is gone, a pain the first time I've been dealt
Because of her, there is something I feel
That someone so perfect couldn't be real
But in my mind, I knew she had no flaws
I placed my hope in her as my life's only cause
Heaven is where she must be from
She is more than I can dream, a light in darkness to some
I wouldn't dare consider myself good for her or worthy
But I dream of us and it kills me
If she were gone, I'd remain dead and alone
Quietly waiting to hear her on the phone
She's had my mind from a simple kiss
One kiss, that gave me the love for her to write this
