Tu Fui Ergo Eris

Tu Fui Ergo Eris

A Poem by Leo
"

As I am, soon you shall be

"
Deep within the the tomb of Enkidu, the friend
It matters not who I have known

Within the Divine Comedy of Dante, the adventurer
It matters not where I have been

Upon the throne of Caesar, the king
It matters not what runs through my veins

Standing in the red clay of Judas, the traitor
It matters not what I have done

Learning the art of Miyamoto, the warrior
It matters not what skill I possess

To use the tongue of Shakespeare, the poet
It matters not what language I speak

For as they all are, I shall soon be
It matters not what path I take

For all paths lead to the mausoleum
